Welcome to the Wallace State Community College Future Foundation Scholarship Application.
IMPORTANT
Before You Start:
New students: Enroll at Wallace State Community College. Click Here to start your admissions application.
You must be enrolled at WSCC to access the scholarship portal. You will need to have a student ID number and an active WSCC student email account to apply for scholarships. This student email will be formatted using your first and last name, not your A number.
If you completed the application in 2023, you do not need to create a new account. You will, however, need to reapply. You will also need to create a blackbaud ID, or BBID, this year. You will need to choose Sign Up and use your same login information as before.
If you do not know your WSCC student email Click Here for instructions on finding your email address. If you are unable to access your WSCC student email, please make sure you have satisfied your admissions requirements. If you have not already done so, please make sure you have submitted a photo ID to newstudent@wallacestate.edu.

NOTE: All scholarship communication will be through your WSCC student email.

NEW USER Process To Apply:
To “SIGN UP”
Select “SIGN UP” above right, and follow the instructions to complete the General Application. You must use your WSCC email to sign up. You can save your application at any time by clicking Save and Keep Editing at the bottom of the form. That’s it. You’re done once you select “Finish and Submit”.

Your application status will show on your dashboard. If your status is not listed as “submitted”, you have not fully completed your application. Log back in to see what is missing.

*Application opens January 8th and closes March 8th.

If selected to receive a scholarship, you will be notified via your student email.

After you have completed your General Application:

• REVIEW YOUR APPLICATION DASHBOARD FOR “APPLY TO” SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
• The system will automatically match you to ALL scholarship opportunities where you meet at least the basic criteria.
• You will not see these opportunities on your application dashboard.
• You may also be recommended to apply for additional SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES that require additional information. In that case, recommended scholarship opportunities will show on your APPLICATION DASHBOARD after completing the general application. Follow the instructions to apply to these additional
  scholarship opportunities.
• You will receive an email notification by April 1st of any scholarship offers.

If You are Selected to Receive a Scholarship:
• You will receive a preliminary offer sent to your Wallace State student email. You will have to “Accept” or “Decline” as instructed.
• You must complete additional steps by April 5th to change a preliminary offer into an award.
• No award is applied to your account until all steps in the process have been completed.
• Scholarship awards are credited to your student account to cover tuition, fees or books and will be posted approximately one month prior to the beginning of classes.
• Scholarship recipients are required to attend the Scholarship Celebration, to be held on our about April 25th, Some of your time will be required for the Foundation’s major fundraiser, The Student Investment Luncheon and Auction, which is usually held the first week of November. More detailed information with specific dates will be sent to scholarship recipients.

Below is a comprehensive list of all active WSCC Future Foundation scholarship opportunities, with brief information about the selection criteria. All opportunity criteria are auto-matched to your General Application, and the system adds you to the qualifying pool for each opportunity matched.

Note: Qualifying/Matching does not guarantee you will receive a scholarship.
